Why Singapore really wants Pedra Branca...

Thursday, March 27, 2008

From down under.

Great, the weather here is getting a tad too cold for my liking. It's right smack at noon time, and I'm still hiding under a blanket because my toes are about to fall off from the cold.

Actually, it's not that bad, but the weather here can be really freaky. Temperature here's more volatile than your stock market. Last I remember experiencing a 38-degree to 24-degree plunge over 20 minutes. Well, it did bring relieve to most of us who were struggling to even walk across the street in the sweltering heat.

Well, I decided to post here because I have had a few really nice people who asked about life here. No, not that those who didn't should be carved alive with a knife, but I just figured that I might as well drop by to let everyone (read: anyone who still comes here) know that the Singaporean Kangaroo is doing fine, except for the fact that he still cannot learn to speak like Steve Irwin. (Look, I do not have any desires to switch courses to Wildlife Sciences.)

So on to more details, I'm living in a suburb. For those who cannot exaclty comprehend what it means to "be in a suburb", think Punggol. Wait, that's just mean, and inaccurate. Uhm, this place is really quiet, and uhm, quiet. Yes. All I can hear at night is the shuffling sound when the nightbour's dog cannot get to sleep and decides that I deserve not to sleep as well. Other than that, it's a really nice place, albeit a slightly longer travelling time of 20 minutes by train to school.

Food's good, I can get hold of chinense/japanese/korean/indonesian/african/american food just outside my home, and we can cook (Yes, we can.) dinner if we decide we want to save costs.

Ok, enough for now, before I bore your toes off. I'll be back soon, to this blog, and to Singapore. I should be flying back in June after my exams, and I hope to meet up with all of you. And if anyone of you are worried that I might have already lost my toes or something, just drop by my blog to take a look. No, it's not a weekly assignment or a preperation for your tutorials. Speaking of which, I better get back to work.

Cheers MATE! (Oh look! I think I'm getting better at this.)

The many faces

Watch out for Mas Selamat!! ;P

Isn't he just cute!? XD

I don't doubt the possibility that he's a ninja, seeing how he has evaded capture so well...

I was just telling my mum about the likelihood of him using this disguise.

So, how do we find him??

nerdy me

i'm finally on facebook, for a few reasons:

(i) to upload that small amount of photos that i took during class outing on 15th Feb (since most websites failed me)
(ii) everyone's on facebook and they give me the "STUNNED" look when they know i don't have a facebook account.
(iii) to be less nerdy.

haha the last reason is just for fun. when i first entered the class group on facebook, the first picture i saw, was yaowen's face. (hahahaha) still the same salmon.

anyways, i've placed the photos on my facebook account, i've added them to the class photos (i think). since im a newbie to this stuff, and most likely won't be exploring facebook much anymore do tell me things i need to do to let u "grab" the photos from me okie? cos im not sure whether just putting them to the class group works.

i sound so toot-ified.

mid-sem break is ending!

Your particulars, please?

Can everyone kindly email me (th3mo0@hotmail.com) your particulars so that I can put them into an address book of sorts? You can tell me your birthday, home no., mobile no., home address, and anything else you think you wanna share.

You could include your wishlist, but it doesn't mean I'd wanna keep that in mind. Maybe, if you have been a good boy/girl this entire year.

I'll be waiting. And oh, you could, too, for your wishlist to be fulfilled.

Cheers!
